Tobago’s Signal Hill Secondary and East Mucurapo Secondary have returned to the top flight in the BG T&T/First Citizens Secondary School Football League.

Yesterday, Signal Hill returned to Tobago bubbling after a 2-0 victory over Five Rivers Secondary in a Champions Division promotion match at the Larry Gomes Stadium, while East Mucurapo got a decisive point from a 1-1 draw with Pleasantville Secondary at Moka, Maraval. Both will now play in the Premier Division next season.

Both East Mucurapo and Signal Hill have seven points from three matches and meet tomorrow at Signal Hill in their final match of the promotion series.

Meanwhile, one of either Chaguanas North (three points) or Pleasantville Secondary (two points), will earn the third promotion spot, depending on the result of their meeting tomorrow in Pleasantville. Five Rivers Secondary also have three points but cannot win promotion having ended their four-match series with defeat yesterday.

The promoted trio will replace Speyside Secondary, Carapichaima Secondary and Trinity East, who have been relegated from the Premier Division.
