Secondary Schools Football League East Zone league champions San Juan Secondary Comprehensive reached the zonal semi-finals of the RBTT Inter Col competition after a 3-0 win over Sangre Grande in the first match of a double-header yesterday at Marvin Lee Stadium, Macoya.
Nicholas Armstrong scored Arima's first goal in the 26th. Arima will face San Juan in the East Zone semis on November 11.
In the Central Zone, Carapichaima Senior Comprehensive narrowly defeated Presentation College Chaguanas 1-0 at Presentation College Ground, while Waterloo High downed Preysal High 4-1 at Carapichaima Ground to set up a showdown in the final between the two sides on November 13.
RBTT Inter Col continues today with the Tobago Zone semi-finals with Scarborough taking on Mason Hall and Speyside going up against Signal Hill.
