Dennecia Prince scored a hat trick to lead Club Sando to a comfortable 3-0 win over Queen's Park Cricket Club for a sixth straight win from as many matches in the Trinidad Claire George Conference of the T&T Women’s League Football (WoLF) on Sunday at the Mannie Ramjohn Stadium, Marabella.
With the win, Club Sando pushed its points tally to a perfect 18 from six matches, three ahead of fellow unbeaten team Defence Force, which clobbered Play Fit 9-0 at the Mahaica Oval, Point Fortin on Saturday, led by a hat trick from Aaliyah Prince.
Laurelle Theodore added a pair of goals for the Army/Coast Guard women's combination unit while the quartet of Celeste Thomas, Summer Arjoon, Shania Edwards and Jo-Marie Lewis each added one.
In another match on Saturday at the St James Police Barracks training ground in Port-of-Spain, Shakeema Forestine netted a brace, and Rasheeda Archer and Akeela Oliver one each, to lead AC Port-of-Spain to a 4-1 spanking of Police, which got its lone reply from Tyiesha Griffith.
The win lifted AC Port-of-Spain to 15 points as well, but from one match more than Defence Force while St Augustine/Cunupia United stayed on 12 points from five matches after its match against Trincity Nationals was postponed to a date to be announced.
In the other scheduled contest, Atlas Athletic International Academy picked up its first win of the season by default over cellar-placed UWI.
