Che Burris scored a double to lead Moriah Youths to a convincing 4–1 thumping of Charlotteville Unifiers at Charlotte to move ahead in the Tobago Football Association Division One standings on Saturday.
Sheldon Boxhill and Kieff Roberts added the others for Moriah to push its points tally to 25 from 12 matches while Unifiers, which got a lone strike from Shane Murphy stayed on 11 points and sixth on the ten-team table.
Two points behind Moriah Youths are Golden Lane and Carnbee/Mt Pleasant which got contrasting wins at Shaw Park and Mt Pleasant.
Golden Lane needed a double from Jayvon Quash and one each from Antonio Balfour and Aaron Clarke to turn back Calder Hall 4–3 while Carnbee/Mt Pleasant won by default from Federal Northside.
And in the other match played, the opener at Mt Pleasant, Goodwood edged Buccoo Ball Park 1–0 to join Earlbrokes on 22 points from 12 and 11 matches, respectively.
