Three different players were on target as St Clair Coaching School resumed its quest for yet another title in the Premier Division of the Tobago Football Association with a 3-2 win over Sidey’s FC on Tuesday.
Keleme Quashie, Anderson Taylor and Keon Boucher were on target for St Clair to cancel out Kehson Samuel’s double for Sidey’s at the Canaan Ground, Bon Accord. With the win, St Clair extended its points tally to 45 from 18 matches and a six point lead over Roxborough Lakers with four matches left for each club including a head-to-head clash on Sunday which could determine the title outcome.
Lakers, the only other team with a realistic chance of catching St Clair also had a narrow triumph, 2-1 over Taylor Rentals Goal City at Roxborough Recreation Ground.For Lakers’, Kern Harris and Nimron Toussaint got a goal each while Kenyon Manswell netted for Goal City, joint third on the table with Sidey’s. In the First Division, Lambeau FC heads the table with 45 points from 20 matches and four to complete its campaign. Second placed Carnbee/Mt Pleasant has 41 with a match in hand followed by Phoenix with 40 and Calder Hall with 36.
