Xtrafoods Chaguanas left it late, but in the end, dropped Fire Services by a comfortable 2-0 margin, to keep joint top in the Central Football Association (CFA) Premier Division Henry Franklin Group at New Settlement Ground, Chaguanas, on Friday.
With co-leader Coosal’s Las Lomas United taking a default 3-0 win over Harlem Strikers, Chaguanas FC needed full points to remain in front. In the end, it was Bernard Mc Call and Kyle David, who scored in the 72nd and 80th minutes, respectively, which gave Chaguanas the win. Both Las Lomas and Chaguanas FC have lost just one and drawn two matches for the season.
