Senior back Trevor Kelley scored two goals and senior midfielder Toric Robinson had two assists to lead East Stroudsburg University to a 4-3 men’s soccer win at Washington Adventist on Sunday night.

The Warriors (9-7-1) scored three goals in a seven-minute stretch in the first half after Washington Adventist (formerly Columbia Union College) got on the board first with a goal by Victor Aquino 9:08 into the game.

Kelley scored off a corner kick in the 14th minute, assisted by Robinson and redshirt junior back Michael Kane, Robinson found senior forward Jason Rudder for a goal in the 19th minute and Kelley scored his second goal of the game on an assist from senior midfielder Shane McFarlane in the 21st minute to give the Warriors a 3-1 lead.

Washington Adventist (7-8) cut the margin to 3-2 when Se-eun Park scored on an assist from Aquino in the 34th minute.

ESU put the game away with 18 minutes remaining as sophomore midfielder Greg Schook took a pass from sophomore forward Matt Ramspacher and scored his fourth goal of the season to make the score 4-2. Se-eun Park closed the scoring on a penalty kick with 33 seconds left in the game.

The Warriors held a 35-19 advantage in shots and senior goalkeeper Larry Pokrywa made seven saves. Luis Caro had nine saves for Washington Adventist.

Robinson has four assists this season and 28 in his career, tied for fifth in school history. He is a three-time All-PSAC selection and is the Warriors’ top assist man in each of his four seasons.

ESU finishes the 2009 season this week with a trip to Bloomsburg on Wednesday and the home finale on Saturday vs. West Chester at 5 p.m. at Eiler-Martin Stadium.
