Barrackpore United continued their reign when they defeated Real Unity SC 2-0 as the Barrackpore Football League continued over the weekend.

Andy London and Steffon Bretton scored one each for the Barrackpore United team to clinch a comfortable victory over their rivals. This victory pushed the club to 27 points, four points ahead of current runners-up Manahambre FC.

Meanwhile, two goals from striker, Ryan Forbes saw Manahambre FC seal a crucial 2-0 win over New Grant United to keep pace with the rampant Barrackpore United team.

Also, third-placed Golconda United had an emphatic 6-1 victory over the Lower Barrackpore Angels. Dexter Franklyn netted a beaver-trick and was supported by teammate Sheldon Dyeth, who scored twice. Kenton Jacob was the lone goal scorer for Lower Barrackpore Angels who are in eight posititon.

Gary Patrick and Barry Carrington scored hat-tricks to give St Charles United (fourth) a commanding 6-2 win over Valleyline United. Justin Subrattee netted the double for 13th placed Valleyline United.

Also, Strangeville United shot five past Cedar Hill United’s goalkeeper to give them a 5-1 victory. Kendall Brown got his hat-trick while for Strangeville. Akeem Farrel scored the single goal for Cedar Hill United.
