WESTSIDE SUPERSTARZS FC remained ahead of the pack in the Blink/Bmobile National Super League after a second successive win, on Match Day Two action on July 14.

The Superstarzs outfit cruised past Bethel United 3-0 at the St Anthony’s College Ground, Westmoorings. 

Akil Morris gave the hosts a two-goal cushion with items in the 14th and 26th minutes, with Qian Grovesnor completing the win with a 71st minute strike. 

Club Sando and Malabar FC moved up to second and third places on the points standings respectively, after both teams played to an exciting 3-3 draw at Guaracara Park, Pointe-a-Pierre. 

Devon Modeste (17th), Anthony Parris (22nd) and Odelle Armstrong (84th) found the back of the net for Club Sando, while Malabar got items from Gorian Highley (fourth), Kevon Woodley (62nd) and Cyrano Glen (90th). 

Another high-scoring game saw Guaya United pip Stokely Vale FC 4-3. 

Russell Alfred (seventh), Leston Paul (54th), Carlon Hughes (63rd) and Jody Allsop (68th) got their names on the scoresheet for Guaya, with Stokely Vale getting late responses from Jamaine Walters (75th), Shellon Manswell (81st) and Darron Williams (90th). 

At the Palo Seco Velodrome, the game between Siparia Spurs and Defence Force ended in a 1-1 draw, with Dwayne Edwards opening the scoring for Siparia after 16 minutes but Stephen Antoine equalising four minutes later. 

And Joe Public played to their second goalless draw in succession, at home to reigning champions WASA FC at the Marvin Lee Stadium, Macoya. 

The contest between 1976 FC Phoenix and Real Maracas has been rescheduled to September 24.
