This year’s staging of the St Anthony’s College “Tigers” Martin Anatol memorial football fiesta at Morne Coco Road, Westmoorings from 5pm will be one of a kind.

This as the fiesta which has been held yearly since the 1990s to celebrate the life of former college football team captain, Anotol will also celebrate the farewell for long-serving school Physical Educational Teacher, Nigel “Grovey” Grosvenor.

In a release from Grosvenor, it stated: This memorial has been going on for about 20 years, and started with the untimely death of our dear colleague and friend Anatol.

“We have managed to stay together throughout the years especially at our Christmas Lime and on Saturday December 17, this one though is special to me as it is my last as a teacher at St Anthony’s College. Yes I have the pleasure of teaching and coaching you all over the period of 33 years, and now the Ministry of Education has said it’s time to leave.

Being his final time the event will be hosted while he is a teacher at the institution, Grosvenor said he would truely love to see each and everyone of his former players, colleagues, friends and all well-wishers on Saturday, to see you play football, lime and for some good ole picong, not to forget the drinking part. All persons are being asked to contribute $100.00
