NEWLY-PROMOTED Federal Northside FC produced the biggest upset of the new Digicel Tobago Football Association (TFA) season, with a 4-3 win over Stokely Vale in Charlottville on Sunday.

And Earlbrokes trounced Mason Hall USSS 5-3 at Richmond the same day to extend their surprise winning streak to three straight to start the season.

Last year's seventh placed team Earlbrokes now lead the Premier Division with nine points, following previous wins over title-holders Georgia United and Bethel United.

Deon Thomas netted twice in the win, while there were goals for Marvin Wright and Brindsley Reid plus an own goal.

Kareem scored a hat-trick for Mason Hall USSS, who are winless after three outings. They won promotion to the top flight last year.

But the biggest surprise of the campaign to date was former champions Stokley Vale's defeat at the hands of debutants Federal Northside, who were picking up their first points among the big boys after three games.

Andy King led the way with a brace, while there were strikes for Dane James and Kirn Graham. Tyrone Manning had a double for the ''Vale'' and Dominic McDougal got the other goal in the loss.

Defending champions Georgia collected their first points of their title defence with a big 4-1 beating of Bethel United at the Dwight Yorke Stadium last Friday night.

Coming off losses to Earlbrokes and Hills United, Kerron Phillips hit the back of the net on two occasions and the other items came from Shey Jerry and Delano Davis to seal the deal for the boys in maroon and white.
