GOLDEN LANE moved one step closer to automatic promotion to the Premier Division in the Digicel-sponsored Tobago Football Association when they shut out Bethel Uprising 3-0.

Roger George, Kirwin Simon and Carmichael Sealy scored one goal each in Wednesday’s match at Plymouth to put their team top of the “A” Conference on goal-difference.

Moriah Youths kept track of the leaders with a 2-1 triumph over Leeds United also at Plymouth.

Wayne Watson and Akeil Carrington scored a goal apiece for the winners while Valton Brathwaite got the consolation goal.

Also in winner’s row on Wednesday were NLCB Mt Grace United who downed Calder Hall 3-1. Jerril Gibbs was the star of this match at the Dwight Yorke Stadium training ground. He scored twice for the winners with Kester Thomas getting the other goal. Aldon Wheeler got the losers’ score.
