LEAGUE leader s Stokelyvale scraped into the semi-finals of the Digicel-sponsored Tobago Football Association FA Cup with a 1-0 victory over Eastern Conference team Black Rock FC.

The Black Rock men proved a handful for “The Vale” in Tuesday’s match at Plymouth, and advanced on a goal by Travis Winchester.

Signal Hill United edged past Carnbee/Mt Pleasant 2-1 also at Plymouth, with goals from Steffon Hector and Dennis Bruce. James Thomas got the consolation.

Also heading to the semi-finals were 1976 FC Phoenix who downed lowly Premier Division squad Mason Hall USSS 2-1 at the Dwight Yorke Stadium.

Prolific Brent Cruickshank and Melvin Nero scored one goal each for the winners while Keldon Baker got the Mason Hall men goal.

Roxborough Lakers edged their way into the “semis” beating out Bethel United 6-5 on penalties also at the Dwight Yorke Stadium, after the teams were locked 1-1 after regulation.

Kwesi Beckles had scored for Lakers while Duane Marcelle knotted up the scores. In semi-final action today, Signal Hill United meet Stokely Vale from 5 pm while Roxborough Lakers take on 1976 FC Phoenix from 7 pm, both matches to be played at the Dwight Yorke Stadium.
