The quartet of Kwame Gonzales, Joel Adanio, Keston McDonald and Kuruel Jeremiah scored two goals each as Club Sando steamrolled Cedar Hill 10-0 in the Southern Football Association (SFA) Petrotrin Super League Premier Division at Pleasantville Senior Secondary ground on Sunday.
In addition, Rondell Thomas and Karlon Alexander added one each for Club Sando in the lopsided Roy Jagroopsingh Group B contest.
However, Marabella Family Crisis Centre, while not reaching double-figures in their wins, scored two valuable victories, first 2-0 over the University of T&T (UTT) and then Valley Line United, 8-0.
Renefor Martin got both goals in the blanking of UTT and also got a double along with Shavon Frederick against Valley Line. Anthony Pierre scored a hat-trick and his brother Patrick got the other goals against Valley Line.
UTT rebounded to hammer San Fernando Giants 6-0 led by two goals apiece from Ricaldo Castiano and Kerron Douglas, while Big Dreams thrashed Union United FC, 4-0 with Kyle Morgan, banging in two.
In the Winston St Clair Group A, Pt Fortin FC and Penal All Stars registered comfortable 5-0 triumphs over Siparia Spurs and Rangers, respectively while Centre For Excellence edged Night Stars, 2-1.
League matches will resume on the weekend, while in the remaining SFA League Cup quarterfinal, Marabella Family Crisis Centre will take a 2-1 first-leg lead into its clash with Siparia Spurs on Sunday at Manny Ramjohn Stadium training field in Marabella, 4pm.
The winner faces Pt Fortin FC in the semifinals while Big Dreams tackles Petrotrin Palo Seco in the other.
