CUNUPIA FC maintained their lead in the CRIL-sponsored Central Football Association (CFA) Premier League after crushing Arawak Combined 6-2 at the Hugo Francis Recreation Ground on Tuesday.

Duane Baptiste scored twice for Cunupia, in the eighth and 36th minutes, while Dillon Walker also netted a pair, in the 17th and 87th minutes.

The other goal-getters for Cunupia were Michael Darko (41st) and Patrick Andell (79th), while Theo Hosein (35th) and Rochard Seetahall (60th) responded for Arawak.

Also in winners’ row on Tuesday were Edinburgh 500 FC, who got past Harlem Strikers 4-2 at the Edinburgh 500 Recreation Ground.

David Lendore notched a double for Edinburgh 500, in the 59th and 80th minutes, following strikes from Atiba Alves (13th) and Husani Thomas (50th). Stephen Samuel (61st) and Asa Joseph (85th) were on target for Harlem.

And, at the African Recreation Ground, Enterprise Youths FC defeated cellar-placed Leeds FC 3-2. Taurean Sobers (third and 14th) and Antonio Jeffrey (61st) got the goals for Enterprise Youths while Leeds got items from Ricardo Cyrus (45th) and Kenneth Cambridge (85th).
