Club Sando posted their first points on the Under-15 standings with a 9-0 drubbing of North East Stars when the excitement in the Youth Pro League 2019 continued on Sunday.

The display by the Cornell Glen-coached Sando U15s saw Omari Campbell (61, 72 & 80) finish with a hat-trick while Davison Ramnath (2 & 75) grabbed a double. Daniel Jones (11), Alex Chacon Hernandez (39), Danté Julien (70) and Daylon Riley (78) also got on the scoresheet at the Mannie Ramjohn Stadium and after three straight defeats, the “Oranges” have posted the biggest win in all divisions this season thus far.

Sando Under-17s were also in winners row with a 2-0 result over Stars after first-half goals by Jaden Mc Kree and Darius Douglas saw the Angus Eve-led bunch complete the day which started with the “Oranges” Under-13 bunch’s undefeated run of three games halted.

North East Stars had took to the pitch for the first time and earned themselves a delightful start when their 10-man U13 side enjoying a 3-1 win over Club Sando after losing their opening two games by default and winning the third in the same manner.

Gabriel Collin put hosts Sando ahead after just six minutes at Marabella venue but Stars stormed back with a goal each from Darius Jordan (13), Jadiel Joseph (15) and Logan Maingot (30) to secure the win before the break.

The Stars must however must do without defender Jaden Williams when they host Central FC on April 14. Williams picked up an automatic red card after his second yellow card of the game arrived on 41 minutes.

In the same division, Thane Devenish hit his second hat-trick of the campaign to keep San Juan Jabloteh perfect at the top of the U13 standings following a 3-1 win over visiting Terminix La Horquetta Rangers.

Mark Thomas stunned the home support at San Juan North Secondary ground when he fired Rangers ahead after eight minutes.

But Devenish, a goalkeeper-turned-striker, hit back with three goals to keep Keith Jeffrey’s side ahead of the pack on 12 points, three points ahead of closest challengers W Connection.

Connection whipped Police 5-0 thanks to a hat-trick from Chaz Ford and a goal each from Aaron Raymond and Quincy Thomas.

Jabloteh followed up with a 2-1 win over Rangers in the U15 division but the San Juan club suffered their first defeat of the U17 campaign 4-3 against the La Horquetta lads.

Jemel Raymond snatched the winning item in stoppage-time for Rangers to avoid his side embarrassment after leading the game 3-nil through a double from Khalil Francis separated by a strike from Justin Modeste.

Jabloteh levelled play with a goal each from Tyrique Sutherland, Kyle Dwarika and Terrell Wiley before surrendering at the death as they continue to struggle in seventh on the U17 ladder without a win.

Connection leads the U17 table with 10 points, closely followed by Sando and Civic. While Civic (12), Morvant Caledonia United and Jabloteh (both on 10), in descending order, heads the U15 standings.

Civic are away to Connection next Sunday while Defence Force FC will host Sando at Queen’s Royal College Ground. North East Stars are hosts to Central and Morvant Caledonia will travel against Rangers, while Police will welcome Jabloteh at the Police Barracks outside field in St. James.
