Every weekday afternoon in the Aranjuez Savannah, as I am sure prevails in most open green spaces throughout the country, there are several groups of youngsters (mostly male, but a few females as well) going through football drills with the guidance of their coaches.

Two goals from striker Larry Noel in the 19th and 36th and a masterful performance from England-based Rio Cardines and Michael Chaves assured T&T's Under-20 team a comfortable 5-0 victory over Dominica Sunday night in Group D of the Concacaf U-20 World Cup Qualifiers at the Hasely Crawford Stadium, Mucurapo, Port-of-Spain.

Trinidad and Tobago Under-20 men's football coach Brian Haynes and his players commended the team's fighting spirit until the final whistle, which earned the junior Soca Warriors a 3-2 win over St Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) in the Concacaf Under-20 Championship qualifiers at Hasely Crawford Stadium, Mucurapo on Friday night.

HEAD COACH Brian Haynes is unconvinced that Trinidad and Tobago gave their best performance, but is nevertheless thrilled with the fight shown by the National Under-20 Men’s football team in battling back from two goals down for a 3-2 win over St Vincent and The Grenadines in their opening CONCACAF Under-20 Group D qualifier on Friday night at the Hasely Crawford Stadium (HCS).
