The Trinidad and Tobago football team will be in action tomorrow against the Dominican Republic in a Caribbean Cup qualifier but another battle off the field of play continues regarding if the team will still be called Soca Warriors or Red Army.

The Trinidad and Tobago Football Association today launched a new partnership with the National Lotteries Control Board (NLCB) that entails the introduction of a Season Pass Program for all of its official National Team Matches through to November 2017, inclusive of the five home games in the CONCACAF Final Round starting with the clash versus Costa Rica at the Hasely Crawford Stadium on November 11th, 2016.

David John-Williams, the T&T Football Association (TTFA) president has moved fast to allay fears that national football coach, Canadian Stephen Hart will be replaced by Stuart Charles Fevrier of  W Connection coach, the club he owned in the T&T Pro League up until he became president of the TTFA.

NOTED local sports broadcaster and businessman Selwyn Melville, through his attorney Egon Embrack, has called on the Trinidad and Tobago Football Association (TTFA), and its president David John-Williams, to “immediately instruct your foreign agents to formally discontinue all foreign prosecutions/ applications of the subject trademark and provide us with proof of same.”
