Nicknamed "Sugars" he is anything but sweet to opposing forwards as he is renowned for his fierce tackling. A native of Trinidad and Tobago Lewis has played 60 times for the National Team between 1987 and 1995, including World Cup Qualifying Games, and has scored five goals for his country. Lewis was only a Senior at high school when he first played for the National Team in 1987. Lewis attended Erskine College from 1988 to 1992 where he was twice named an NAIA All-American. He was captain at Erskine his last three years. Lewis enjoys meeting and listening to people.
