COST CUTTERS Matura Re-United whipped Dream Team 2-1 recently as the final games, in the group stage, of the Japs Fried Chicken-sponsored North East Stars Champion of Champions Football Tournament continued at the Manzanilla Recreation Ground.
Dream Team needed to win by three clear goals to proceed to the semi-final round, but Matura prevailed to advance to the last four, which is scheduled for Wednesday, Boxing Day.
Matura will be meeting Boys Town while Malabar FC will be facing Guayaguayare FC.
The final has been scheduled for New Year’s Day at the Ojoe Road Recreation Ground, Sangre Grande.
