ELIJAH BELGRAVE netted a pair as Church on the Rock whipped Curepe Amen 3-0 on Saturday last, in the first leg of the semi-final round of the Churches Football League Knockout competition.
Clinton Joseph got the other strike for Church on the Rock as they moved closer to a spot in the final.
The other semi-final first leg meeting was a high-scoring affair, as Global Encounter Ministries were held to a 3-3 draw by D’Abadie Deliverance Sanctuary at the Maloney Recreation Ground.
Jevon Simon notched a double for Global Encounter Ministries, while Dacien John scored the other. Ezra Connor, Ricardo Mathura and Jereme Beepath replied for D’Abadie Deliverance.
The second legs will take place at the Bon Air Recreational Ground, Arouca, with the Curepe-Church on the Rock game carded for tomorrow while the D’Abadie-Global Encounter match will be staged on Monday.
