New National Super League leaders Club Sando are on a bye, as the first round of the matches to determine the National Super League qualifiers for the FA Trophy competition begins today.

League competition is set to resume on Sunday. Two of today’s matches are in Tobago and will see Coolsal’s Las Lomas United and Siparia Spurs meeting Goal City and Bethel United, respectively.

Meanwile in League action on the weekend, Club Sando stretched its lead to two points by beating Stokely Vale 2-0, while previous leaders WASA dropped points.

League top-scorer Kerron Clarke failed to find the net one of just a few occasions this season as WASA drew 0-0  with Malabar FC.
