St. Ann’s Rangers football club, on Monday at the Hasely Crawford Stadium, unveiled its new club kit for the 2013-2014 season while launching a lucrative 6-year agreement with United States sportswear company, +ONE™.

The Multi-Kit deal, the first of its for a Trinidad and Tobago club, will afford St. Ann’s Rangers game-day and training uniforms , traveling kits, casual wear, training balls and kit bags; valuing US$75,000 per year.

A delighted Rangers’ chairman Richard Fakoory said, “The + ONE™ Kit agreement sets a solid foundation for our club  as we enhance our overall operations towards achieving our goals of making this community-based club one of the top three football teams in Trinidad & Tobago and by extension the Caribbean.”

“+ONE™ is very excited about this union with Rangers FC and looks forward to establishing a foothold within the Trinidad & Tobago football landscape.  We are also extremely impressed with the overall success of the St. Ann’s Rangers youth development programme over the last few years,” said Chris Anderson-Joyeau, +ONE™ CFO.

As such, +ONE™ is committing to assist the club in any area that will propel Rangers towards international recognition. While +ONE™ is also considering its name to be used alongside Rangers, along with talks for the possibility in the placement of Rangers’ players within international clubs in Europe and Asia, where +ONE™ have sponsorship commitments.

Fakoory added, “We wish, through our performance both on and off the pitch, to reward them (Chris Anderson-Joyeau and +ONE™) for the investment they have made.”

New Rangers Head Coach, Gilbert Bateau, and Operations Manager Richard Piper, both echoed Fakoory’s aspirations of rewarding the investment made by +ONE™. Both men expressed assurance to do all within their power to ensure the objective is achieved.

TT Pro League CEO Dexter Skeene, present at the Rangers’ Kit launch, expressed his thoughts on the +ONE deal saying, “St. Ann’s Rangers is a Club with the right vision and one which is embracing the business side of local football. Rangers have shown (that) they have one of, if not, the best youth development systems in the country and this deal will add support to the work the Chairman (Richard Fakoory) has already done with the club.”

 The League CEO also said that the knowledge gained by Rangers through the +ONE™ deal can be shared at the Pro League board level to encourage other clubs within the League to strive for same.
