The Trinidad and Tobago national under-20 football team remain uncertain about their 2009 T&T Pro League future, less than two weeks before the kick off of the domestic competition.
Doubts raised over youth side in Pro League
Clico San Juan Jabloteh will allow striker Daniel Joseph, midfielder Kevin Molino and defender Mekeil Williams-all reserve team players-to join the Trinidad and Tobago national under-20 football team for the 2009 Pro League, which kick off next month. But the gloves are off where the immediate future of 18-year-old central defender Robert Primus is concerned.
Finally getting it right
There is no limit to what we can achieve as a nation if we are not overly concerned with who gets the credit. This point was proven last month when the Zoran Vranes-coached Trinidad & Tobago Under 20 football team qualified for the FIFA Under 20 World Championships in Egypt. Congrats to Coach Vranes, his staff and the players but equal recognition must be given to those persons who had planted the seed of development some five years before.
