TRENDSETTER Hawks' girls' teams starred on the opening day of the Trinidad and Tobago Football Association (TTFA) on April 20 when they registered convincing victories in their respective North-East under-13 and under-15 divisions at the University of the West Indies (UWI), St Augustine.

ALTHOUGH they are a relatively new club that were registered in July 2022, Evolution FC are ready to make their mark on the local football scene and are targeting a successful campaign in the 2024 Republic Cup National Youth Football League (NYFL) which kicks off on February 24.

Last season's losing finalists Trendsetter Hawks got a measure of revenge to kickstart the 2024 Next Level Consulting Ltd (NLCL) under-15 community cup on Sunday, when they earned a 3-1 victory against defending champions Ginga FC in the season opener at Constantine Park, Macoya.

The 28th edition of the Republic Cup National Youth Football League (NYFL) will kick off on February 24.
