As the Women's World Cup begins, FCD Youth coach reflects on heartbreaking loss with Trinidad and Tobago in qualifying

FC Dallas Youth Affiliates and Elite Cub National League coach Ben Waldrum could be in Canada right now as an assistant coach preparing the “Cinderella” team, Trinidad and Tobago, for the Women’s World Cup. Unfortunately, a 1-0 loss in the second leg of a home-and-home with Ecuador kept the story that could have been from happening.

Russell hopes to improve Women Soca Warriors

Newly appointed Women’s Soca Warriors coach Ross Russell says he hopes to improve the overall standard of the team as they continue preparations for the upcoming Pan American Games in Canada in July as well as the Caribbean Football Union Olympic Games qualifying tournament for Rio 2016.

RANDY WALDRUM will remain with the Houston Dash, his American women’s professional team, and will not be in charge of Trinidad and Tobago’s senior national women football team for the upcoming Pan Am Games competition to be held next month in Canada. The T&T women will face Colombia, Brazil and Ecuador in the group phase.
