ROXBOROUGH Lakers escaped into the next round of the FA Cup in the Tobago Football Association.

The Lakers were held to a 1-1 draw by Championship Division team Moriah Youths in regulation time, before winning Friday’s game 5-3 on penalties.

Kieff Roberts gave Moriah their goal, but Akessa Alexander knotted up the game at Cyd Gray Stadium.

In the latter game at the Cyd Gray Stadium, a clash of the top two teams in the Premier Division, Youth Stars edged leaders Sidey’s 2- 1 with goals from Klaydon Christmas and Jesse Martineau. Arnold Beckles got the goal for the Speyside men.

Rohan Sebro scored a double and Jayvon Quash got the other as Golden Lane ousted Hope Village Milan at Mt Gomery. Also at Mt Gomery, Lambeau edged Goodwood United 2-1 with Michael Charles and Darron Moses scoring for the winners. Dylan York got the losers’ goal.
