Senior forward Shastri Spencer scored 1:10 into the game and assisted on senior midfielder Drew Repsher’s first career goal in the second half to lead East Stroudsburg University to a 4-1 win over Caldwell in non-conference men’s soccer on Saturday at Eiler-Martin Stadium.

The victory gives the Warriors (10-4) their 27th 10-win season in 28 years under head coach Jerry Sheska, who has averaged 15 wins per year since going 5-7-2 in his first season in 1982.

Spencer put ESU on the board early and junior forward Greg Schook scored with just over two minutes left in the first half. Repsher’s goal came 2:43 into the second half and redshirt senior midfielder Danny Drago finished the Warriors’ scoring with a penalty kick with 20 minutes left.

Andrew Loughnane scored for Caldwell (5-9) in the 84th minute. Senior goalkeeper Troy Hernandez made five saves in 80 minutes in goal for ESU, and sophomore Steve Mack had one save and allowed the Caldwell goal in the final 10 minutes.

ESU was ranked No. 4 in last week’s NCAA Division II Atlantic Region poll and is looking for its 17th trip to the NCAA Tournament in Sheska’s 29 years as head coach.

The Warriors play two non-conference games on the road next week, traveling to Nyack on Wednesday and UDC on Saturday. The regular season concludes with a pair of home games the following week – NYIT on Tuesday at 6 p.m., and Bloomsburg on Saturday at 8 p.m.
