The Colorado School of Mines men's soccer team had a total of six players named to All-Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference teams as announced today by the RMAC.

Head Coach Frank Kohlenstein was named RMAC Coach of the Year for the second consecutive season. It marked the fifth time he has received the honor which is the most by any men's soccer coach in the history of the RMAC.

Tesho Akindele, a freshman forward from Thornton, Colo. (Northglenn H.S.), was also a unanimous First Team All-RMAC selection. Akindele currently leads the RMAC in goals (18), points (41) and game-winning goals (tied – 5). Last month, he recorded three consecutive hat tricks becoming the first men's soccer player in the history of the RMAC to accomplish this feat and was highlighted in Sports Illustrated in Faces in the Crowd. Among Division II players, Akindele ranks second in total points and goals, third in goals per game and fourth in points per game.

Chike Sullivan, a junior midfielder from San Juan, Trinidad & Tobago (St. George's College), was also a unanimous First Team All-RMAC selection for a second consecutive season. Sullivan currently leads the RMAC in assists (11). A Pre-Season All-RMAC selection, Sullivan ranks third in the RMAC in points (27) and eighth in goals (tied – 8). Among Division II players, Sullivan ranks third in total assists and fourth in assists per game.

Jacob Juett, a senior defender from Flower Mound, Texas (St. Edward's Univ. / Marcus H.S.), earned Second Team All-RMAC honors. A Pre-Season All-RMAC selection, Juett anchors the top defense in the RMAC and one of top defenses in all of Division II. Juett and the CSM defense have allowed just eight goals all season, the best in the RMAC. The squad also ranks first in goals against average (0.46) and shutouts (11). Among teams in Division II, Mines ranks third in goals against average and shutout percentage (0.65). Juett has played and started in 15 games this season scoring two goals both of which were game winners.

Manville Strand, a sophomore goalkeeper from Las Vegas, Nev, (Spring Valley H.S.), garners Second Team All-RMAC honors for the second consecutive season. One of the top goalkeepers in the RMAC this season, Strand leads the conference in goals against average (0.43), save percentage (.860) and ranks second in shutouts (7). Strand ranks fourth in Division II in goals against average and ninth in save percentage.

Alex Nass, a sophomore midfielder from Piracicaba, São Paulo, Brazil (Poudre H.S.), garners All-RMAC honors for the first time in his career being named to the Second Team. Nass has two goals and six assists this season. His six assists this season rank him sixth in the conference.

Baski Baker, a freshman from Socorro, N.M. (Socorro H.S.), is one of just four freshmen to earn All-RMAC honors being selected to the Third Team. Baker currently leads the RMAC in game-winning goals (tied – 5), ranks third in goals (tied -11) and sixth in points (tied – 24).

The third-ranked Orediggers (15-1-1, 12-1-1 RMAC) the 2010 RMAC Regular-Season Champions, are hosting the RMAC Tournament beginning on Friday, Nov. 5th. CSM, the #1-seed, will host either the #4 seed Metro State or #5 seed Mesa State on Friday at 11:00 am. The winner will advance to the RMAC Tournament Championships on Sunday, Nov. 7th at 12:00 pm.
