A JACKPOT of $50,000 is on offer at the inaugural Community Cup Invitational Seven-a-side Football Tournament, which will take place throughout the country this month.
This event, which will be held under the auspices of Dignitariez Sports, will be held over the duration of four days, at three venues. Action kicks off today, in the East Zone, at the Larry Gomes Stadium in Arima, followed by the South/Central leg at the Ato Boldon Stadium in Couva. The final leg (North Zone) will be contested at the Police Barracks in St James on Good Friday, April 22, while the finals are carded for Easter Sunday, April 24, at the Police Barracks.
Among the sponsors for this tournament are Media 21, First Citizens and TTEC. The cost of registration is $200 per player and teams are allowed between 10-15 players.
