Bartholomew said the money will be to pay coaches for their service during the camp. The camp currently comprises two coaches and as many assistants as well as a coordinator.

Despite assistance from corporate TT namely Kiss, Universal Foods, KC Confectionery and RIK, Bartholomew claimed his institution was left with a $6,000 bill of which they were able to raise fund to reduce it by $4, 000.

The camp began August 8 and is expected to be concluded today. President of the Waterloo Institute, Raymond Jurawan, said the camp was a last minute initiative by its members after registration was done early for the annual SPORTT Holiday Camp.

It caters for boys and girls five-15 years from both Primary and Secondary schools in the Waterloo area.
