Pinto United Sports Club were held to a 3-3 draw by the La Horquetta Academy in their second match of the Eastern Football Association (EFA) League, held at Mickey Trotman Sporting Facility, Pinto Road, on Saturday.

Opening the scoring for Pinto United was club president, Brian Bain who netted a scorcher in the first half.

Kern Robinson equalised for the La Horquetta club and sent the score to 1-1. Jerome Millard helped Pinto United regain the lead but the La Horquetta Academy never gave up and were rewarded when Omeku Barbour equalised (2-2) just before the stroke of half time.

At the resumption, Pinto United regained control when Josiah Gentle fired home to send the Arima-based club 3-2 ahead.

Pinto United’s reign was short-lived when Robinson found the back of the net for a second time. Robinson’s second goal closed off the game with a final score of 3-3. Bain was pleased with the result but reiterated that they should have maintained their advantages when they were on top.
