JOE PUBLIC made it a clean sweep of all the titles in the 2011 bmobile National Super League semi-professional competition after winning the first Carib Christmas Cup 4-1 over Westside Super Starz on Sunday at Marvin Lee Stadium, Macoya.

Club Sando finished third after edging WASA FC 3-2 on a late Andy London goal.

A T&T Pro League club in 2010, Joe Public voluntarily disbanded their professional team after much publicised troubles for owner and former FIFA vice-president Jack Warner.

Retaining only national players Carlyle Mitchell, goalkeeper Marvin Phillip, Hayden Tinto and Andre Toussaint, the Eastern Lions also won the Super League 2011 league and knockout titles.

It is the second time Joe Public dropped to the Super League and made a clean sweep.

Striker Ellis Dyett got Joe Public off to a fast start, netting in the second minute on the way to scoring a hat-trick (2nd, 24th, 54th).

Another striker, Dorian Robinson, also scored in the 33rd minute as Joe Public built a comfortable 4-0 lead, before Calvin Grazette got a 83rd minute consolation for Starz, who were promoted to the Super League at the beginning of the season.

The battle for third place saw WASA evenly balanced with Club Sando until London's 83rd minute winner.

WASA twice led through left-footed midfielder Michael-Lee Celestine (13th, 40th) but Club Sando were able to equalise twice, first through Lester Edwards (24th) and then Keith Williams (45th) to go in 2-2 at the halfway stage.
