In a rescheduled encounter at the WASA Ground, St Joseph, both teams entered the match knowing that a win will see the victors overtake defending champions Joe Public for the top spot.

And Jahhan Hernandez proved to be the hero for WASA, as he found the back of the net in the final minute to guarantee full points for the hosts.

Nigel Thomas netted a double as 1976 FC Phoenix held off Defence Force 2- 1 to climb from eighth to fifth on the standings.

Marlon Laidlow put Defence Force ahead after 50 minutes at the Canaan, Bon Accord venue before Thomas responded with items in the 53rd and 68th.

The other rescheduled game saw Club Sando whip Stokely Vale 3-0 at the Plymouth Recreation Ground.

Keston London broke the deadlock in the 17th, while Neil Marcano doubled the lead in the 35th and Jesse Downing ended the scoring in the 70th as Sando jumped from 10th to seventh on the points table.
