Kareem Charles broke the deadlock for the lowly-placed Defence Force on the hour-mark, while Goodridge got his name on the scoresheet, in the 73rd and 79th minutes.

And, in the day’s other rescheduled fixture, Real Maracas battled to a 1- 1 draw with Club Sando at the Maracas Recreation Ground, St Joseph.

The visitors took the lead after 57 minutes through Jason Boodram before Aaron Peters evened up the scores in the 70th. Action will turn towards the League’s Knockout Competition, which will begin on Sunday.
