bmobile super leagueThe 2009 bMobile National Super League season kicks off on Sunday with a six match schedule.

Thirteen clubs will play in the seven month league, including newcomers, TTEC, East West Coaching School and Queens Park.

Last year’s winners the national under 20 will not be defending their title as they have qualified for the World Youth Championships later this year.

The league offers a prize package of $300,000 with the winner getting $120,000.

Later in the season, the national super league clubs will join their Pro League counterparts for the Toyota Cup.

The Super League has added an education component to this year’s league which started with a match commissioner's course at the Queens Park Oval earlier in the week. veteran match commissioner, Lennox “Bullet” Pilgrim said the course was outstanding, even for the most experienced officials. Five new commissioners attended, along with the 18 who serve the bMobile National Super League.
