Fresh from claiming the knock-out title on Sunday, T&TEC continued from where they left off in the first round, easing past Club Sando 2-0 in their bmobile National Super League Match Day 12 fixture, at the Manny Ramjohn Stadium, Marabella, yesterday. Bevon Bass, who scored a double in the final against Valtrin on Sunday, continued his goal hunt with a strike in the 26th minute to give the “Electricity Boys” a 1-0 lead. The scoreline remained unchanged until the 61st minute when Tigana Sparks doubled the advantage, to seal the deal, 2-0. This marked T&TEC’s eight win in 11 matches, and also extended the knock-out champions unbeaten run this season.

The power company maintained their four-point lead over fellow utility company WASA, moving to 27 points, while the latter got the better of bottom of the table M & M Harvard by the same victory margin in their encounter. Jahhan Hernandez was the man solely responsible for the win, as he netted a goal in each half. He gave his team a 1-0 lead as early as the 3rd minute, before he put the icing on the cake with a strike in the 71st minute. The “Water Boys” have now moved to 23 points from their 11 matches.
