Former champion, WASA and Stokely Vale will have their eyes set on replacing Club Sando at the top of the table when they clash  in the first match of day 11 in the blink/ bmobile National Super League at Plymouth Recreation Ground, 4 pm today.

Currently, Club Sando leads the ten-team table with 19 points from ten matches followed by Stokely Vale with 18, WASA with 16 and another former league champion, bmobile Joe Public on 16 points.

A week ago, both WASA and Stokely Vale missed out on going top of the standings after slipping up against fifth placed West Side Super Starzs (15 points) and St Francois Nationals respectively.

West Side eked out a 1-0 win while Stokely Vale was held to a  draw, 2-2 against bottom of the table St Francois.

However, no matter the outcome of today’s match, there will be a new league leader based on points or goal-difference.

A win for Stokely Vale will put it two points clear while a drawn result will also see it move ahead of Club Sando based on superior goal-difference.

The “Water Boys” on the other hand, need nothing less than maximum points to flow to the front of the pack.

On Wednesday, bmobile Joe Public with a match in hand will host St Francois Nationals; 1976 FC Phoenix is at home to Real Maracas and West Side tackles Club Sando.

The match between Defence Force and Eagles United has been postponed due to the military men involvement in the ongoing State of Emergency enforced by the T&T Government.

Meanwhile, the knockout final between Stokely Vale and Joe Public will take place at the Dwight Yorke Stadium, Bacolet, Tobago from 5pm.

This will be preceded by the fifth to sixth place playoff between, Phoenix and league debutants, West Side two hours earlier at the same venue.
