Stokely Vale thrashed Club Sando 5-1 to go top of the blink/bmobile National Super League standings at the Mannie Ramjohn Stadium, Marabella on Monday.

Goals from Tyrone Manning and Sean Christmas put Stokely Vale 2-0 at the half. Deon Thomas then madeit 4-0 with his two goals scored in quick succession in the 59th and 61st minutes.

Shevon Frederick could only muster a  response for Club Sando within two minutes of the restart, before Stokely Vale’s top goal scorer Manning then sealed the win in the 77th minute.

The win put Stokely Vale level on points with knock-out winners bmobile Joe Public, above with a superior goal difference of four goals. Joe Public will have the chance to retain the top stop with a result at home to WASA at the Marvin Lee Stadium, Macoya at 4 pm.
