Defending MILO Tobago Primary Schools Football League champions Bon Accord Government were held to a 1-1 draw by Signal Hill Government in the opening match of the 2010 season.

Signal Hill took the lead through a Taffarel Joseph free kick, before Adrian Toppin equalised for Bon Accord.

Bethesda Government, last year's runners-up, had a great start to their campaign, hammering St. Patrick Anglican 13-0. Kwame McDougal fired in six goals, while teammate Kwame Cadore scored four.

Montgomery Government, Roxborough Anglican and Speyside Anglican also registered convincing victories.

Shaquille Gardiner's hat-trick fired Montgomery to a 7-0 win over Buccoo Government while five goals from Kellis Coker and a Kennoy Gray hat-trick led Roxborough AC to a 9-0 victory over Ebenezer Methodist. Darrel Stevens' six goals for Speyside AC gave him a share for the Golden Boot lead with McDougal, as he powered his school to a 9-1 win over Delaford RC.

Action in the Girls League kicks off today, highlighted by the Leeward B clash between defending champions Montgomery Government and 2007 champs Bethesda Government.
