Omarley James helped himself to a handful of goals as reigning League champions, Whim Anglican, made it a Black Friday for St Patrick Anglican with a 13-0 mauling on the fifth day of the MILO Tobago Primary School Football League at Mt Pleasant on Friday.
James opened the scoring in the tenth minute before adding items in the 16th, 22nd, 38th and 48th, while Tyrick Richards (13th, 49th) and Keston Rodney (20th, 45th) added two goals each. Also on target were Joshua James, Tyrel George, Gereeb Louis and Samuel Toney with one each.
Bethesda almost equalled Whim’s tally, crushing Patience Hill Government 12-0 at Plymouth. For Bethesda, Kwame Mc Dougall netted a hat-trick while Tyrel Chadband, Darion Melville and Johnathan Thomas chipped in with braces.
There were also victories for Signal Hill and Des Vignes Road while Bon Accord dominated Buccoo in a girls/boys’ doubleheader. Signal Hill stayed perfect as Taffarel Joseph got both goals in their 2-0 win over Bethesda.
Des Vignes bounced back from defeat in their first match to earn their first points of the season with an impressive 4-1 win over Tablepiece at Tablepiece.
Kishorn Huyghew, Kwami Huyghew, Ezekiel Jackson and Keshieve Manswell were the marksmen for Des Vignes Road while Curtis Harry Jnr. got the consolation for Tablepiece.
Bon Accord Girls defeated Buccoo’s Girls 5-0 at Mt Pleasant before the Bon Accord Government Boys defeated the Buccoo Boys 8-0 at the same venue.
Desiree Cox had a hat-trick and Anika Thomas notched a double for the Bon Accord Girls. Their boys got a beaver-trick from Javon Williams, a double from Jabarry Francis and other goals from Kjorn John and Basil Cox.
