Signal Hill cop Tobago secondary crown

SIGNAL HILL dethroned Mason Hall as Tobago Zone champs in the BGTT Secondary Schools Football League (SSFL) yesterday.

Signal Hill needed a win over Scarborough, in a rescheduled match, at the Dwight Yorke Stadium, Bacolet, to overtake Mason Hall and claim the 2008 zonal crown.

And they did so, courtesy of a 2-0 victory, with first half strikes from Runako Jack and Dereem Moore.

But Signal Hill will have little time for rest, as they will meet reigning champs San Juan tomorrow in the Big 5 quarter-finals, at the Larry Gomes Stadium, Arima.
