Malick will be campaigning in the Championship Division of the BG T&T North Zone Secondary Schools Football League next season.
This after the once dominant force in SSFL football defeated Diego Martin North (formerly Diego Martin Junior Secondary) 4–0 in the zonal Senior Division final on Queen’s Royal College ground, St Clair, on Thursday.
For Malick, Shafiq Rose scored a pair of goals, in the 39th and 41st minutes; while Anthony Sullivan (57th) and Keion Pacheco (67th) added one each.
Malick, after its one year absence from the top bracket, will return for next year at the expense of demoted Woodbrook and will also meet Championship Division winner, St Mary’s in the quarterfinal round of the zonal Coca-Cola InterCol competition.
Today, Fatima College and St Anthony’s College will meet in the zone’s Form One final on St Mary’s ground, Serpentine Road, from 9.30 am.
