Georgia moved a step closed to wrapping up the Premier Division crown in the Tobago Football Association by edging Castara Retreats Goal City 1-0 on Wednesday on a Warren Phillips goal.

Georgia’s chances of capturing the championship was increased when closest rival Stokely Vale slumped to a 4-1 loss to Earlbrokes.

Georgia, with 44 points from 18 matches now enjoys a handsome 11 point lead over second placed Stokely Vale with only four matches left to complete its 22-match schedule.
