Curtis Job scored a brace for Stokley Vale to beat Hills United 2-1as they moved six points clear at the top of the Digicel Tobago Football Association (TFA) competition following the last round of matches played last weekend.

Playing the second game of a doubleheader at the Dwight Yorke Stadium (DYS) in Bacolet last Friday, out-of-form Job's efforts boosted the "Vale's'' ambitions of scoring a double in this campaign, following their recent triumph in the FA Cup competition. Eustace Stewart replied for Hills United.

Stokely Vale now lead the race with 31 points from 14 matches, while St Clair Coaching School replaced Earlbrokes in second spot after a commanding 9-0 whipping of Bethel United in the night's opener at the DYS.

Keon Samuel led the goal spree for Coaching School with a hat-trick. Carron Williams and Keron Mc Leod helped themselves to double strikes, while Kino Proctor and Vernon Wilson netted one each to push their side's point tally to 25 in 13 matches.

Former leaders Earlbrokes (23 points), who were idle in the last round, have dropped to third after collecting just five points in their last seven games.

Despite of their recent setback, Hills United (21 points), still hold on to fourth spot on the basis of a better goal difference over Sidey's FC (21), who drew 1-1 with their next door neighbours Charlotteville Unifiers at home in Spreyside on Sunday.

Anthony Kent did the business for the hosts, while Kevon Woodley scored for the visitors, who are fifth on the standings on 20 points.

In other results, ninth placed Castara Retreats Goal City beat bottom-of-the-table Federal Northside Combined FC 4-2 on the training ground at the DYS.

Kerlon Ferguson netted twice for Goal City, while there was an item each for Benton Charles and Kaydoe Legall. For Northside, Joel Harry and Kirn Boodoo hit the back of the net.

And in the only game at Goodwood on Sunday, dethroned FA Cup champs Roxborough Lakers stopped Mason Hall USSS 3-1.

In other TFA news, Golden Lane lead the standings in the A Conference by two points over Black Rock, who have 11. NLCB Mt Grace United are three points adrift of the leaders.

In the B Conference, 1976 FC Phoenix hold the upper hand with 13 points. Signal Hill United, who reached the semi-finals of the FA Cup, are in second position on nine points, while Carnbee/Mt Pleasant are one point back in third berth.

The top three teams from the two conferences, along with the best third place side will contest the ''Big Seven'' playoffs, with the top two clubs gaining promotion to the Premier Division next season.
