Playing in the knock out final at the Lambeau recreational facility, last Sunday, Sobo showed that they were a notch above the opposition this year as they completed the game without their influential midfielder, Yohan Elliot who received marching orders early in the second half, but were still able to hold on for a hard fought but exciting victory.

Even though Sobo were down to 10 men, Hill Top still could not dominate the game as the exchanges were fairly even. Midway in the second half, after a close call Sobo launched a quick counter attack resulting in Curt Moses receiving a long pass to easily beat an advancing goalkeeper for the only goal in the match and the winner.

Prizes were distributed immediately after the match and Sobo walked away with the bulk of the prizes.

In addition to collecting beautiful trophies for the League and knock out tournaments, they also won three of the five individual awards.

Anson Campbell was voted the League's 'Most Valuable Player', Yohan Elliot won the award for the 'Best Midfielder' and Curt Moses was voted 'Best Defender'.

Cemetry's Darrion Mitchell was voted 'Best Goalkeeper' while Legends won the award for the 'Most Disciplined' team.
