Four of the six FA Trophy matches played in the Tobago Football Association had to be determined on penalty kicks on Friday and Sunday. Sidey’s created the biggest upset on Friday when it turned back Premiership Division league leader, Georgia 4-3 on penalties, after the scores were locked 1-1 at the end of regulation time. Also advancing on Friday was Black Rock, which edged Charlotteville Unifiers 3-2 on penalties. Before the shootout, the teams were locked 3-3.

Hills United and newly-promoted Youth Stars also moved into the second round via wins from the penalty spot. Hills United stopped Leeds United 4-2, following a 1-1 deadlock while Calder Hall stamped its authority over fellow First Division squad Calder Hall 4-1, after finishing the first 90 minutes goalless. Top Premier Division side, St Clair’s Coaching School advanced with kicking a ball as Hason Hall PYC defaulted and Mason Hall USSS edged Bethel UNited 1-0 on a Kevon Adams goal.
