In-form Lambeau now lead the standings with 40 points from 16 games, ahead of Carnbee/Mt Pleasant, with 31 points from 15 outings. The top two clubs will be promoted to the Premier Division for the 2011 season.

In the first game at Canaan on Tuesday, 1976 FC Phoenix were still left languishing in seventh spot despite a 2-1 triumph over Bethel United, who dropped from third to fifth.

At Goodwood on the same day, fourth place Youth Stars defeated Goodwood United, while in the second encounter, Calder Hall FC remained 11 points off the leaders after a 6-1 drubbing of former Premier Division club Golden Lane FC, who last campaigned among the big boys in 2008.

Forward Cecil Des Vignes notched a hat-trick and Kevin Tobias a brace, while Garvin Richards completed the scoring for Calder Hall, who are third on the table.

Imlah Taylor netted for Golden Lane, who are sixth in the race for promotion.
