MALABAR FC whipped La Horquetta SA 7-4 on Sunday, at the Marvin Lee Stadium in Macoya, to clinch the Emerald Apartments and Plaza-sponsored Eastern Football Association (EFA) FA Trophy Final.

Stevon Stoute (fifth, ninth and 63rd minutes) and G Samuel (15th, 33rd and 66th minutes) each recorded hat-tricks for Malabar, while Robert Alexis (75th) got the other strike.

Jamal Creighton netted twice for La Horquetta SA, in the 17th and 72nd minutes, while Kern Robinson (31st) and Wesley Elcock (88th) contributed one apiece.

In the third-place playoff, Joe Public benefitted from an own goal from Quincey Prosper, in the third minute, and a double from Jason Cudjoe (57th and 76th) to defeat Boss FC 3-0.

On Saturday, both the Under-16 and Under-18 FA Finals were contested. At the La Horquetta Recreation Ground, La Horquetta XF demolished Blast FC 7-3 to clinch the Under-16 decider.

Thomas O’Neil registered a treble for the winners, in the 19th, 49th and 73rd, while Jermoul Francois (58th and 82nd) and Taryk Sampson (67th and 90th) chipped in with one apiece.

Blast were reliant on a hat-trick from Kyle Chung (eighth, 39th and 78th).

WASA FC also took advantage of home conditions and support to lift the Under-18 FA trophy, following a 3-2 win over Dingle Boys at the WASA Ground, St Joseph.

Terrel Jordan put Dingle Boys ahead after 15 minutes but Nkosi Lewis replied for WASA in the 27th. Garvin Jerry restored Dingle Boys’ lead ten minutes later but WASA stormed back with strikes from Jesse Glenn (61st) and Leon Timothy (72nd).
