EDINBURGH 500 whipped Cap Off Youths 3-0, in the Henry Franklin Group, as action continued in the Central Football Association (CFA) Premier League recently.
At the Edinburgh 500 Ground, Tevin Peters broke the deadlock after 27 minutes while Stephen Julien doubled the lead in the 63rd. Nathan Cadore put the icing on the cake in the 77th minute.
Edinburgh remained in second spot on the group standings, while Enterprise Youths FC are in third place, after being held to a 3-3 draw by Xtrafoods Chaguanas FC at the New Settlement Ground, Chaguanas.
Kefim Blackford netted twice for Enterprise, in the 41st and 68th minutes, while they benefitted from an own goal in the 59th. For Chaguanas, Kyle David scored a double, in the 10th and 65th, and Randy Ramcharan added the other, in the 60th. At the Hugo Francis Recreation Ground, Fire Services got a 3-0 default victory over Harlem Strikers.
Only one game was contested in the Hugo Francis Group, as Perseverance United got a last minute winner from Kyle St Clair to edge Cunupia FC 1-0 at the Hugo Francis Recreation Ground.
Eagles FC got a 3-0 default win over Leeds FC, in the other scheduled game at the Hugo Francis Recreation Ground, while Caroni Tabaquite had a 3-0 default win over Flamengo FC at the Tabaquite Recreation Ground.
